Lori Dunn

Lori grew up in Arlington, Texas. After earning her B.S. in Psychology from Baylor University, she completed an M.S. in Counseling at the University of North Texas. With a strong understanding of people, motivation, and the challenges families face, Lori has always been drawn to work that serves others.

She spent nine years at Children’s Medical Center Dallas as a Child Life Specialist and Play Therapist, where she developed a lifelong commitment to caring for people in meaningful, practical ways. Lori later devoted several years to raising and leading her growing family—an experience she describes as one of her greatest joys and proudest responsibilities.

Lori eventually brought that same heart for service to PEAK American Investment Advisors, returning to a professional mission of helping others achieve freedom—this time through thoughtful financial guidance. Over her years with PEAK, she has worn many hats and played a key role in building and reshaping the firm as the industry evolved. Her steady leadership—especially through the challenges of the pandemic—helped strengthen the organization and position it for continued growth. In recognition of her impact, Lori was appointed President in January 2022.

Grounded in her faith and guided by a deep commitment to family, Lori brings warmth, creativity, and a people-first perspective to her leadership. An avid traveler and a champion of culture, she focuses on the human side of PEAK—ensuring both the team and the clients experience the very best of what the firm stands for.
